Circa Vintage brides 1950's style Marilyn worn with Emmy shoes

The 1950’s has to be one of the most flattering silhouette’s in the last 100 years, nipped in at the waist and a full skirt makes every bride look like a film star. I have worked on three different design details for the Circa Vintage Brides 1950’s bride. Marilyn is of course based on Marilyn Monroe’s famous blow up halter neck dress and we have designed it with two fabric choices, sheer silk organza or silk taffeta.

1950’s Marilyn Monroe Vintage inspired Halter neck knee length wedding dress from the Hollywood collection. The gown is halter neck style and travels from behind the neck and meets at the bust where tiny pleats create shaping, the body comprises of sculpted panels past the waist to the hips where the skirt is ruched in the hip line from one side to the other leaving a flat panel at the front of the dress. Made in either silk taffeta or sheer organza and comes with 1950’s style petticoat.
All Circa Vintage Brides wedding dresses are made of silk in England
