A step by step introduction to the Vintage inspired wedding dresses influenced by the 1920’s, 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s by the designer Astral Sundholm-Hayes.
The
1940’s is probably my brides favourite Silhouette as the focus in on the waist
framed by the shoulders and fuller skirt of the wedding dress.
The
1940’s is also a great time for women as the short sleeve became very popular
in evening wear, although traditionally bridal gowns would have had long
sleeves, but today’s brides favour a short sleeve so I have designed my vintage
wedding dresses with this in mind.
