The new2013 silhouette collection by Circa Vintage brides 1940's Phoebe

A step by step introduction to the Vintage inspired wedding dresses influenced by the 1920’s, 1930’s, 1940’s, 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s by the designer Astral Sundholm-Hayes.

The 1940’s is probably my brides favourite Silhouette as the focus in on the waist framed by the shoulders and fuller skirt of the wedding dress.

1940’s Vintage style silk crepe wedding dress with cross over bust detail wrapping around the body and tied at the back of the waist with contrasting sheer silk georgette classic 40’s gathered sleeves, shoulders and cut away back leading to the full bias cut skirt which drapes across the floor as you walk with slight extended train behind to elongate the silhouette.
